CUATRO

Four leaves stretch outward like open hands, each gesture a quiet declaration of presence. The woven lines of the background suggest both enclosure and infinity a grid that attempts to contain what cannot be contained. The vessel, warm and earth-toned, origin the base of these green arcs, grounding them in the material world. Yet the leaves reach beyond, moving as if stirred by an invisible current, defying the stillness of their surroundings. This work contemplates the tension between rootedness and craving, between the visible structures we inhabit and the inner landscapes we carry. Cuatro invites us to notice the balance within ourselves: the need for grounding, and the relentless urge to reach beyond.
